Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active teaching certification in General Education, preferably with a focus on ELA Proven classroom experience, specifically in English Language Arts Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with learners of diverse backgrounds Excellent classroom and behavior management abilities Creative lesson planning and adaptive instructional strategies Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver well-structured ELA instruction to students using engaging and meaningful curriculum Assess student progress, adapt instructional methods, and provide constructive feedback Create a safe classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to develop strategies that support student success Maintain all required documentation, including lesson plans, assessments, and communications with families Participate in school meetings, professional development opportunities, and parent-teacher conferences
