P3 Staffing is seeking a High School Teacher for a Special Needs Christian Private K-12 school in Hudson, Florida! The ideal High School English Teacher candidate would have a Valid Florida Teaching License, experience in classroom management and special education. Our top High School English Teacher candidate would be responsible for leading classroom instruction (for classes no larger than 16 students), developing lesson plans, managing student behavior, and providing individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs if selected. The High School English Teacher will work closely with the school administration and their Teaching Assistant to support the academic success of all students. Perks/Benefits!
Pay range:

Responsibilities:
Develops and implements daily lesson plans. Lesson plans should be creative; appropriate to both the class and to individual students; modified as needed; engaging to students; related to curriculum goals and objectives; developed to utilize a variety of media, methods, techniques, and strategies; and designed to maximize each student's abilities and achievements. Provide individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs Participates in other supervisory or monitoring responsibilities of students, such as during lunch, recess, to/from school activities, or school outings. Manage student behavior and maintain a safe and positive classroom environment Collaborate with school administration and special education staff to develop and implement academic support plans Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as necessary Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress reports Provides leadership to Teaching Assistants working within the classroom.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Communication, or related fields ( REQUIRED ) 3+ years of teaching experience (REQUIRED) Valid Florida Teaching license and certification ( HIGHLY
PREFERRED
) Comfortable working and participating in a Christian Private School environment Current and Valid Driver's License Experience in classroom management and behavior modification techniques Experience working with students with special needs (Preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
