Job Description

Bachelor's degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1+ years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an English Language Arts educator supporting students in a dynamic general education environment. This full-time position, located in the heart of Louisiana, begins in early August and continues through the end of May. You'll provide direct classroom instruction to learners, contributing to their growth in reading, writing, and critical thinking, while collaborating with fellow educators in a supportive onsite setting. Ideal candidates bring a genuine passion for literacy and enjoy creating engaging curriculum that sparks curiosity. Preferred Qualifications:
Valid Louisiana teaching license/certification with appropriate endorsements for general education and ELA Classroom experience delivering general education instruction (ELA focus preferred) Excellent classroom management and the ability to motivate students of diverse backgrounds Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, students, and families Willingness to work onsite full time according to the school calendar
Primary Responsibilities:
