Competitive; based on experience and credentials Job Overview St. Therese Academy, a Catholic school serving students with exceptionalities, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary English Language Arts Teacher to join our faculty. We are looking for an educator who believes in the potential of every learner, values relationship-centered teaching, and desires to make a meaningful impact in a mission-driven school community. This position includes teaching middle and/or high school English Language Arts in a supportive environment with small class sizes and collaborative colleagues. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging ELA instruction aligned to curriculum standards Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs Foster growth in reading, writing, vocabulary, and critical thinking skills Create a structured, supportive, and positive classroom environment Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records and communication Collaborate with faculty, support staff, and families to support student success Implement accommodations and instructional supports for students with exceptionalities Participate in school life and support the mission of Catholic education Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, Secondary Education, or related field required Valid teaching certification (or eligibility for certification) preferred Secondary teaching experience preferred Experience working with students with learning differences or special needs preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Commitment to collaboration, flexibility, and mission-driven education Why Join St. Therese Academy?
