Job Description

Category Schools - General Education Teacher Job Type Contract Inspire the next generation as an English Language Arts educator for the 2026-2027 school year! As an onsite instructor, you'll partner with a supportive learning community and have real-time impact in the classroom.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Louisiana teaching license with required endorsements for English Language Arts Prior experience leading General Education or ELA classrooms preferred Strong classroom management and creative instructional strategies Demonstrated commitment to student achievement and inclusive learning Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with staff, students, and families
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver dynamic ELA instruction aligned with curriculum standards and student needs Design engaging lessons that foster critical thinking, literacy, and communication skills Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and intervention Create a positive, inclusive, and organized classroom environment Collaborate with fellow educators and support personnel to enhance educational outcomes Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development This opportunity is for a 37.5-hour weekly contract, running from early August 2026 to late May 2027.
