Miss Hall's School, Inc ASC Learning Specialist Pittsfield, MA Apply Application Review Starting 3/16/26 The Academic Skills Center (ASC) is a place where all students can receive academic coaching, experience multimodal methods of instruction, develop strategies to improve their academic performance, and learn to advocate for their individual learning needs. We intentionally build a community of students who support each other in their journey to become resilient, creative, and self-directed life-long learners. We are seeking a collaborative educator with experience working with English Language Learners to support students in this setting and partner with classroom teachers to provide individualized consultation to meet the needs of all students. Requirements
  • Experience working with English Language Learners in an educational setting
  • Familiarity with and ability to respond to students with different learning needs
  • Demonstrated ability to provide academic coaching and individualized language support, focusing on comprehension and expression in their academic courses, for identified students, including English Language Learners.
  • Demonstrated interest in collaboration with administration, faculty, and families to support ESOL Students
  • Be available for a flexible work schedule that includes two evenings per week for working during study hall times
  • Willingness to participate in interdisciplinary and innovative curricular design and partnership
  • Demonstrated interest in and commitment to working with students of varied academic levels and interests.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate classroom technologies to enhance teaching and learning
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion and to serving a diverse, global community

Faculty salaries are determined based on years of full-time teaching experience and are structured into salary bands in five-year increments. Each band corresponds to a defined salary range, benchmarked annually against NAIS (National Association of Independent Schools) median compensation data.
Range:
