K/1 Language Arts Teacher

HudsonWay Immersion School seeks a dedicated K / 1 Teacher to support our youngest learners. This role provides Language Arts instruction to Kindergarten and Grade 1 students. The ideal candidate demonstrates a deep understanding of early childhood development and a love for teaching early literacy.

Key responsibilities:

Implement developmentally appropriate ELA instruction tailored to individual student needs Apply early intervention strategies as needed to support student growth Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes strong behavioral expectations Maintain accurate student records in compliance with school policies and regulations Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance instructional practice

Qualifications:

Native speaker of English Pre K -3 or Elementary Education Teaching Certification Excellent organizational and classroom management abilities Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pre K -3 or Elementary Education (required) Minimum of 3-4 years of classroom experience with Pre-K or early elementary students Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and classroom management abilities

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform essential job functions in accordance with all applicable regulations Capacity to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the school day Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds We regret we cannot respond to every applicant.
