Job Description:
Language Arts Teacher (Grades 5-8) Oak Hill Academy, an independent co-educational school serving students from Pre-K through 8th grade, is situated on a beautiful 20-acre campus in Lincroft, New Jersey. We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Language Arts Teacher to join our faculty and work with students in grades 5 through 8. Our Language Arts program is rooted in a strong traditional foundation, emphasizing grammar, vocabulary development, reading comprehension, and structured writing. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for literature and writing instruction, along with the ability to inspire students to think critically and communicate effectively. Responsibilities include developing engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a classroom environment that supports both academic rigor and creativity. Candidates should be comfortable integrating technology into instruction, with working knowledge of Google Classroom required. Strong organizational skills, collaboration with colleagues, and effective communication with students and families are essential.
