Part-Time Private English & Literature Teacher — Homeschool We are seeking an engaging and experienced English and Literature teacher for two homeschooled students in 6th and 9th grade. The ideal candidate can strengthen foundational skills while inspiring thoughtful discussion, independent thinking and a genuine appreciation for literature. Applicants must be familiar with the works and philosophy of Ayn Rand and comfortable incorporating age-appropriate selections into the curriculum.

Responsibilities:

Develop individualized English and literature lessons for each grade level Teach grammar, vocabulary, writing, reading comprehension and literary analysis Guide students in essay writing, research and critical discussion Select classic and contemporary literature appropriate for each student Incorporate Ayn Rand's works and ideas into the curriculum where appropriate Track progress and provide regular feedback to the family Coordinate with the broader homeschool schedule and educational goals

Qualifications:

Teaching, tutoring or homeschool education experience Strong background in English, literature, writing or humanities Familiarity with Ayn Rand's literature and philosophy is required Ability to teach two different grade levels effectively Engaging, organized, dependable and comfortable in a private-home environment Bachelor's degree preferred Must pass a background check
