Immediately Job Description Rochester Academy Charter School (RACS) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of ELA Teacher in our High School building for an immediate opening. This position will begin in August and continue through the end of the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate is eligible for a contract renewal at the end of the first year. Responsibilities include Passion for literature and writing Desire to lead and mentor students at the high school level Teaching English 10 Refine and create curriculum to meet the needs of your students Opportunities to lead school wide activities Ideal candidates will possess New York State certification for ELA grades 7-12th. Candidates with out-of-state certification will be considered. Experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Education or have completed a teacher certification program. Please fill out as much of the application as possible and add attachments as you are able.
