QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Driver's license Appropriate State of Ohio Teaching License for Grade Six A satisfactory report from Criminal Records check Good health, high moral character, and good attendance record Demonstrates a sincere desire to aid all students Plans, implements and assesses instruction designed to develop students' abilities to use certain skills, apply core concepts, become self-sufficient individuals, think and solve problems, and integrate knowledge Assesses student learning using a variety of tools Communicates results to students, parents, and staff Creates a learning climate that supports student achievement and safety Evaluates teaching effectiveness based on student achievement in relation to student attainment of goals Uses technology to support instruction; access and manipulate data; enhance student academic growth Adheres to school, district, state, and federal policies, regulations, and laws Equal Employment Opportunity Statement The Edgewood School District Board does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, or genetic information in employment or provision of services.
