This is not a traditional English tutoring position focused on grammar or school homework. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping students develop strong reasoning, vocabulary, and analytical thinking skills. Responsibilities Teach advanced vocabulary and word usage Develop students' verbal reasoning and critical thinking skills Introduce analogies, word relationships, and logic-based activities Facilitate reading comprehension and discussion Create engaging and interactive lessons Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching elementary or middle school students Strong vocabulary and reading instruction background Gifted education or enrichment program experience preferred Familiarity with CTY, SCAT, debate, reading competitions, or advanced academic programs is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills
