This position is not focused on school homework assistance. Instead, we help students develop strong vocabulary, reading comprehension, critical thinking, verbal reasoning, and communication skills through engaging and interactive lessons. Responsibilities Teach vocabulary, reading comprehension, and critical thinking skills Help students develop verbal reasoning and analytical thinking abilities Lead discussions based on reading passages, literature, and current topics Introduce analogies, word relationships, and logic-based activities Create engaging lessons tailored to students' academic levels and interests Foster confidence in reading, writing, discussion, and communication Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, Education, Communications, Linguistics, Psychology, or a related field required Experience teaching or tutoring elementary and middle school students preferred Strong knowledge of reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and writing instruction Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to create a positive, engaging, and student-centered learning environment Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching SAT, ACT, TOEFL, SSAT, ISEE, CTY, SCAT, Debate, or other academic enrichment programs Experience working with gifted, high-achieving, or academically motivated students Classroom teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or enrichment program experience Master's degree candidates are encouraged to apply
