Dorchester Academy, a Pre
K-12 SCISA
member school accredited by Cognia/SCISA, is seeking an Upper School English Teacher for grades 9-12.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging instruction in literature, composition, and grammar; develop students' analytical writing and critical reading skills; assess student progress; collaborate with faculty on curriculum alignment; maintain communication with families.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required (English education or related field preferred); prior high school teaching experience preferred; strong classroom management and communication skills.
Compensation:
Based on education level and years of experience.
