As a Bilingual Academic Interventionist - English/French , you will work directly with students who may benefit from academic instruction and support delivered by someone who can communicate effectively in both French and English . You will partner with classroom teachers and campus staff to help students strengthen academic skills, understand classroom content, build confidence, and make measurable progress. Your Impact Includes Provide academic intervention and instructional support to French-speaking and multilingual students . Deliver small-group instruction, generally serving 1-8 students at a time . Help students better understand academic concepts and classroom expectations in English while using French when appropriate to support comprehension. Provide support in foundational Math, Science, English Language Arts, and other core academic areas . Collaborate with teachers to reinforce classroom instruction and address individual student needs. Help multilingual students build confidence while adjusting to English-language instruction. Track student attendance, academic progress, assessments, and intervention results. Maintain a welcoming, respectful, and culturally responsive learning environment. You're a Strong Fit If You are fluent in both French and English and can communicate confidently with students in both languages. You enjoy supporting students from multilingual and newcomer backgrounds. You have at least 1 year of academic instructional, tutoring, intervention, or classroom experience ; 2+ years is preferred. You are comfortable providing support in foundational Math, Science, or Language Arts. You can work Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM-2:45 PM . You are available approximately 30-35 hours per week . You hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline . Teacher certification is a plus but is not required . You are dependable, patient, organized, and comfortable working directly with students and school staff. You are prepared to begin promptly upon completion of required onboarding and background screening. Why A Yancy Life?
