Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor to empower learners from diverse backgrounds to achieve their language goals. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by designing engaging lessons, fostering a supportive classroom environment, and guiding students through their language acquisition journey. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a strong commitment to student success, helping individuals develop their communication skills and cultural confidence for personal, academic, or professional growth. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive ESL curriculum tailored to various proficiency levels, incorporating innovative learning technology and instructional best practices Deliver engaging lessons that enhance speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills Assess student progress regularly through standardized testing, formative assessments, and personalized feedback to ensure continuous improvement Create a positive classroom environment with effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that support diverse learning needs Mentor students by providing individualized support, tutoring, and guidance on language development and academic skills Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and school-wide educational initiatives Skills Proven classroom experience Excellent communication skills to clearly convey concepts and foster an inclusive learning atmosphere Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education Knowledge of learning technology tools that enhance language instruction and student engagement Ability to manage classrooms effectively with strong behavior management techniques Familiarity with standardized testing procedures, tutoring strategies, and private school environments Skills in mentoring students individually or in groups to build confidence and encourage active participation

From $17.00 per hour
