Salary Range:
Putnam County Schools Professional Annual Salary based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental insurance.
The High School English/LA Teacher is assigned to deliver a comprehensive English program in accordance with state law and West Virginia Board of Education and county policies and regulations. The successful candidate must be or be willing to become certified to teach AP courses.
Qualifications:
Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional or Temporary Teaching Certificate endorsed for English, English/language arts, or language arts at the grade levels applicable to this assignment (9-12).
Length of Employment:
200 days
Responsibilities:
The High School English/Language Arts Teacher shall have the responsibilities and duties as outlined in the Putnam County Schools Job Description Handbook.
