Roane State Community College Job Summary Adjunct faculty to teach college level courses in the following areas:

ASTR 1010

-Solar System Astronomy

ASTR 1020

- Stars and Galaxies Astronomy Job Duties Teaching students on-ground lecture courses. Minimum Qualifications Candidates qualifying to teach Astronomy courses must have a minimum of a Master's degree with 18 or more graduate semester hours in any combination of the qualifying fields (Astronomy or Physics) from a regionally accredited institution. Candidates qualifying to teach Astronomy must have work experience in Astronomy. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience teaching lecture desired. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrated ability to teach traditional face-to-face classes. Use of technology (Zoom, D2L) to support student learning is expected. All applicant submissions must include CV/Resume and unofficial transcript attachments.
