Undergraduate Student Assistant

- Being embedded in a specific course to help fellow students succeed by working one-on-one with students or groups, holding exam study sessions, etc.
- Being embedded in a specific course to facilitate conversations, discussions, and in-class activities
- Providing support on a specific academic project being led by a faculty UAs work closely with their Lead Faculty (the faculty member teaching the course the UA is assigned to) and attend onboarding and training.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be enrolled at UAA with a minimum of six (6) credit hours in the semester of employment. Must have completed at least one semester at UAA/KPC. Must be in good disciplinary standing with the university. Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher for this position. Upon hire, completion of the following UAA Employee e-Learning Trainings is required:FERPA:
Protecting Student Privacy and Title IX. Additional training with the UA program at KPC will be required.Position Details:
This position is located on the University of Alaska campus in Soldotna. This is a part-time student position which will include up to 40 hours of work across the semester. It could range from 1-8 hours/week. This job is a Level 2 Step 17 position which pays $15.57/hour. This is a pooled position and applications are reviewed as needed.
