Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Bring your energy and commitment to education as a Paraeducator working in a diverse school environment. This contract opportunity is based at a respected elementary school in Sacramento, CA, supporting students and educators in a Resource Specialized Program. You will be an essential presence in the classroom, ensuring every child receives the attention and support they need to reach their potential. This full-time role (30 hours/week) runs through early June 2027, with specific end dates depending on the classroom assignment. You'll work closely with the teaching team and students, participating both in daily classroom duties and supporting pull-out instruction for targeted interventions.
Skills & Experience:
Experience as a paraprofessional or classroom assistant, preferably with younger students Previous work supporting special education or resource programs considered a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work in collaboration with teachers and staff Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for helping students thrive Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) is valued but not required Commitment for the duration of the assignment
