In-Person Part-Time:
Approximately 4-6 hours per week to start
Compensation:
$30
  • 50/hour depending on experience and position.

Our mission is to cultivate kind, confident, capable young people through engaging, project-based learning experiences. We believe students learn best when they are actively creating, exploring, collaborating, and solving real-world problems. We are seeking passionate STEM educators who love inspiring curiosity and helping students develop the skills they will need for the future. What You'll Do Facilitate engaging STEM lessons and projects Create a positive, supportive learning environment Encourage creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking Guide students through hands-on learning experiences Help students develop confidence as learners and leaders Communicate professionally with leadership and families Ideal Candidates Have Teaching, tutoring, coaching, or youth program experience A background in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, robotics, coding, makerspaces, or related fields Strong communication and classroom management skills A passion for project-based and experiential learning Reliability, professionalism, and enthusiasm Bonus Qualifications Florida teaching certification Experience teaching upper elementary or middle school students Experience with robotics, coding, engineering, entrepreneurship, or innovation-based programs Perfect For This role is ideal for: Current teachers seeking additional income Retired educators who miss working with students Substitute teachers looking for consistent weekly hours Tutors seeking a stable teaching opportunity Graduate students pursuing education or STEM-related fields Industry professionals interested in sharing their expertise with the next generation Parents returning to the workforce who want meaningful part-time work Many of our instructors combine their role at Mindful Leaders with other teaching, tutoring, consulting, or professional positions.
