The Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Sciences (KF-SCIS) at FIU is currently seeking student Graders to join their team of professionals.

Duties include:

Attend meetings with your primary instructor to discuss grading rubrics before any work is graded Apply consistent grading across all student submissions, using any and all criteria from instructor rubric(s) Be responsible and punctual regarding deadlines set by the instructor Read and respond to instructor communications within one day¿s time The KF-SCIS student assistant policy is available here . Requires prior completion of FIU Service Excellence training or completion within first 30 days. B or above in corresponding course (undergraduate), or qualifications deemed appropriate by the Associate and Program Director (Masters)• Minimum GPA of 2.5 • Qualifications taken into consideration include: relevant prior experience and performance, course enrollment, current schedule, specific skillsets requests by faculty, and availability. Student Assistant Applicants must be currently enrolled as a student at FIU with a minimum of six (6) credits as an Undergraduate student or three (3) credits as a Graduate student during the Fall and Spring semesters. During the Summer semesters, Students need only remain enrolled and are not required to take credit hours, but cannot have graduated. Upon decreasing credit hours or graduating, student employment must end. Up to 20 hours per week $700.00 to $5000.00 total gross per semester (paid in biweekly increments) Criminal ground Check This student appointment may be subjected to a pre-employment background check.
