Adjunct Staff:
Temporary/Contract Part-Time Closing on: Jul 23 2029 Hybrid $1,610 - $1,987 per SHCI (Semester Hours of Credit Instruction)
Overview:
Salem State University is seeking adjunct professors with interest and experience teaching elementary, early childhood, special education, or literacy courses at the graduate level and/or supervising teacher candidates in their pre-practicum or practicum.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach graduate courses and/or supervise teacher candidates in their pre-practicum or practicum. Work collaboratively with faculty, in a school with future-directed leadership and a collective focus on academic excellence, success of our students and faculty development.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree Teaching experience Demonstrated commitment to collaboration and collegiality Demonstrated commitment to teaching, supervision, and advising Preferred Qualifications Appropriate terminal degree Higher education teaching and supervision experience at the graduate level Experience with online teaching and use of a learning management system, such as
Canvas Working Location:
Most graduate courses are delivered in an online modality.
