Work closely with specialized educators, assisting in center-based classrooms to deliver meaningful learning experiences. This role is ideal for candidates who are motivated to make a positive difference and can lend a helping hand with varying student care needs.
Qualifications:
Must be highly qualified by one of the following: Successfully pass the Minnesota Para Educator Exam (documented proof required), or Have at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required—pictures of diplomas do not qualify) Experience as a school paraprofessional or related field strongly preferred Willingness and capability to assist with toileting as part of daily support duties Comfort supporting students in center-based (Setting 2-3) caseloads Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to work collaboratively with teachers and staff Organized, compassionate, and reliable in fulfilling responsibilities
Role Responsibilities:
Provide individualized and group support to students, implementing accommodations, and supporting instructional activities as directed by teaching staff Assist in classrooms with students who have diverse learning and personal care needs, including toileting support Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with education teams Uphold the expectations and policies outlined by the district and school
