Job Description
The Savannah R-3 School District is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Assistant Forensics Sponsor to support the district's Forensics program. The Assistant Sponsor will work with the Head Forensics Sponsor to help students develop communication, public speaking, performance, and critical-thinking skills. This opening is for the current 2026-27 school year. Essential Responsibilities Assist with planning and supervising Forensics practices, meetings, and activities. Support students in preparing speeches, performances, and presentations. Assist students with research, writing, delivery, and performance techniques. Help prepare students for competitions and tournaments. Assist with supervision and transportation during school-sponsored events and competitions. Encourage student participation, teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship. Maintain a positive, supportive, and professional team environment. Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Sponsor or administration.
