Job Summary:
The primary functions of the EOF Summer Classroom Assistant is to assist our classroom instructors to create an engaging, supportive, and well-structured learning environment during our Summer Academy. This also includes assisting and tutoring students after class hours and during study hall.
Responsibilities:
Work with the instructor regarding student academic progress, behavioral shifts, or specific needs of the classroom. Support Summer Academy students with understanding classroom assignments, homework, and group activities. Support and tutor students during after class hours and/or study hall. Provide feedback to instructors and EOF staff regarding the progress of Summer Academy students. Provide daily administrative tasks, including tracking attendance, organizing student assignments with collaboration from instructor and EOF staff.
Hourly Rate:
$15.92
Qualification Standards:
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills Experience with working in an office preferred but not required Experience with working in a team and collaboration preferred
Education:
Associate's Degree or higher
