Remediate scholarly content in the Buffalo State Institutional Repository, Digital Commons, according to Federal, State, and University Accessibility standards (60%) Monitor the Library Accessibility Remediation Request Form for remediation requests and remediate content as requested. (10%) Communicate with Digital Commons collection managers regarding updates to policy and best practices in producing accessible content. (10%) Maintain the ADA Title II Compliance in Digital Commons web guide by updating tutorials and adding new best practices. (10%) Learn about all aspects of disability service and office functions (10%) Required Qualifications Current or entering full-time (6 credit hours) matriculated graduate student at Buffalo State University. Registered for graduate program in any computer, data science, human services, education or other related programs. Preferred Qualifications Good understanding of and ability to work with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Ability to work independently, with attention to details. Ability to communicate and problem-solve with positive results. Ability to work effectively with a diverse population of students, staff and faculty. Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro Working knowledge and familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Available to work during weekday hours of operation.
