(1) an understanding of the college mission and teaching experience in a comprehensive community college; (2) a focus on student success in a learner-centered environment; and (3) a willingness to use technology to support learning in the academic setting, including on-line instruction and assessment of student learning outcomes. MVCC is seeking to fill two full-time, ten-month Instructor positions in our School of Health Sciences to teach in a Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredited Associate degree dental hygiene program. The position(s) include a commitment to a teaching assignment in the Summer of 2027. Full-time faculty members teach contracted classes in accordance with established policies and guidelines. Teaching responsibilities include lecture, lab, and clinical assignments on the Rome campus. Courses may be taught in a traditional classroom and online formats. Other specific assignments will be made based on the individual's academic qualifications and program needs. In addition to teaching, full-time instructors participate in program assessment, curriculum development, student advisement, facilitating student experiences, recruiting for the program and serve on various School and College Committees.Qualifications:

Master's degree in a related field or currently enrolled in a Master's degree program Current New York Dental Hygiene license and Dental Hygiene Anesthesia certification Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment Flexibility in schedule and a willingness to work and contribute collaborativelyPreferred Qualifications:
