Job Description

Job Summary:
Assist Camp Instructors in teaching and facilitating science & engineering curriculum designed for rising 3rd - 12th graders. Facilitate daily computer lab activities with campers. Coordinate and carry out outdoor camp activities.

June 2026 - August 2026
Camp Mission:
Hands-On Technology Education, LLC seeks to provide a safe, engaging, and balanced computer science & engineering summer camp for rising 3rd to rising 6th graders in the San Diego area. The focus of this camp will be exposure to the fundamentals of mobile technology, introduction to computer programming concepts, and early interaction with electrical engineering activities (e.g. circuits).
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the direction, supervision, and organization of campers throughout the camp in order to meet the intended camper outcomes. Participate in the development and implementation of program activities for campers within the mission and outcomes. Be a role model to campers and staff in your attitude and behavior. Attend employee-training program and other trainings/meetings as directed.
Requirements:
Students currently enrolled in undergraduate studies or tech. training program are preferred. Must be able to obtain or become certified in First Aid/CPR. Must submit health history record and examination form prior to first day of work. Ability to interact with all age levels. Prior computer programming experience is a plus. Prior experience working with children is preferred.
