Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in the Newport area. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced educators, graduates, aspiring teachers and anyone with strong leadership or group-management experience looking to build a career in education. As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play an important role in keeping learning on track when teachers are unavailable. You'll supervise pre-planned lessons, support pupils with their work and create a calm, positive classroom environment. No two days are the same — and you'll have the opportunity to gain valuable experience across a secondary school setting. ‍ What Will You Be Doing? Supervise classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and instructions Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment Manage behaviour confidently and consistently Support pupils with their learning where required Encourage students to remain focused and engaged Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff Who Is This Role Perfect For? Requirements Teaching Personnel will support you throughout the registration process.
