Join our dynamic Staff Kids Summer Experience team and inspire young minds! We are seeking enthusiastic and creative Summer Assistant Teachers to help with engaging and educational activities for children aged 4 years to 5th grade. Program hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30a - 5:00p. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact on children's lives while enjoying a fun and rewarding summer experience. As a Summer Assistant Teacher, you'll: Responsibilities include but are not limited to•: Create a warm and welcoming classroom, ensuring a safe and healthy environment, maintaining order and discipline in a life-giving manner. Bring daily activities to life with excitement, fostering the children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development. Intentionally and actively interact with children, both individually and in groups. Meet each child's basic needs, including comforting them when they're upset and understanding the cause of their distress. Ensure children have everything they need from home Assist and follow the instruction of the Lead Teacher in implementing daily activities and preparing supplies before the children arrive. Keep classrooms well-stocked and organized. Maintain a daily schedule and flow of your classroom. Adhere to all Staff Kids Care policies and procedures.
