•Week 8/17-21 and Week 8/24-28•Part-Time Summer Camp Assistant - Business & Financial Literacy Education (K-6) In-Person | Northern VA (Arlington and Franconia) Looking for a fun, rewarding summer job where you can make a real impact? At SPARK Business Academy , we believe kids are never too young to dream big. This summer, help students become entrepreneurs, investors, inventors, and business leaders through hands-on camps that bring business and financial literacy to life! We're seeking energetic, positive, and dependable Summer Camp Assistants to support our instructors as they lead engaging camps for students in grades K-6. From Shark Tank-style business pitches and mock stock market challenges to creative product design and entrepreneurship activities. Why You'll Love This Role Make a meaningful difference in children's lives Spend your summer in a fun, energetic camp environment Help students build confidence, creativity, leadership, and financial literacy skills Gain valuable experience in education, youth development, and business Work alongside passionate educators who love what they do What You'll Do Assist instructors with exciting entrepreneurship and financial literacy camps Support students during interactive games, projects, and activities Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Encourage student participation and celebrate their successes Assist with classroom organization, setup, and daily camp operations Schedule & Location Part-time summer position Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:00 PM Opportunities available throughout Northern Virginia, including Arlington and Franconia What We're Looking For A genuine enthusiasm for working with children Strong classroom management and communication skills Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude Positive energy and a willingness to jump in wherever needed Ability to support learners with diverse needs and learning styles Requirements At least 1 year of childcare experience At least 1 year of teaching, tutoring, coaching, or instructional experience Must be 18 years of age or older Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site in Northern Virginia Bachelor's degree preferred CPR and First Aid certification preferred Compensation & Perks $600 per week Referral bonus program Professional development opportunities The chance to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders If you're passionate about education, enjoy working with kids, and want a summer job that's both fun and meaningful, we'd love to hear from you.
