This role combines fun, learning, and creativity as you guide young children through interactive activities that introduce basic concepts of health, medicine, and science in an engaging and age-appropriate way. As a Summer Camp Instructor, you will lead themed activities inspired by the Little Medical School curriculum alongside our ongoing sports and enrichment programs. You will help foster curiosity and a love for learning while maintaining a safe and supportive camp environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily summer camp sessions incorporating Little Medical School's hands-on activities and lessons. Create a fun, welcoming atmosphere that encourages participation and exploration. Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers throughout the program. Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding camper progress and camp activities. Assist with setup, cleanup, and organizing materials for daily lessons and activities. Attend instructor training sessions to familiarize yourself with the curriculum and best practices. Requirements Passion for working with children and facilitating experiential learning. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage young children and manage group activities effectively. Flexible availability during summer camp dates. Reliable transportation to camp locations. Prior experience in education, childcare, or coaching is a plus.
