Job Summary:

Job Description Love teaching residents? Position available immediately for a full-time IP GME Core Faculty of Internal Medicine at Cobb Hospital in Austell, approximately 25 miles from downtown Atlanta, GA. Join a fully-accredited Internal Medicine residency training program with committed core faculty and a solid track record of academic achievement and subspecialty fellowship placements. Our GME Internal Medicine group has enjoyed long-term faculty retention and is currently expanding to include an additional full-time role. Must be board certified in Internal Medicine. Prior GME involvement is preferred.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Clinical Practice of Medicine, Surgery, or Dentistry including

• The care of patients in Outpatient or Inpatient settings or both.
• The documentation of clinical care
• The documentation and tasks necessary for billing and other administrative functiions
• Continuing Medical Education required to maintain licensure and Board Certification Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all WellStar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

Required Minimum Education:

A MD, DO, DMD, or DDS Degree Required and Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia Required and Applicants must have completed the necessary Residency training requisite for their given specialty and be Certified or qualified for Certifiation by their respective specialty Board Required Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
