Position Function:
The Physician Assistant Program at Mississippi State University's Meridian campus invites applicants for a time-limited, non-tenure track position as Lecturer. This role will be responsible for teaching or course development.
Salary Grade :

Area of Specialization:
Master of Physician Assistant Studies Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Development, delivery and assessment of current, objective-driven course material. Student performance evaluation. Early identification of students struggling to achieve course and program learning outcomes. Development and implementation of remediation plans and early intervention plans of action.
Minimum Qualifications:
Successful applicants will hold a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field. Qualified through academic preparation (advanced degree or other academic background). and/or experience to teach clinical pharmacology at the master's degree level. Recent practical expertise is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Classroom or clinical teaching experience is preferred. Familiarity with physician assistant scope of practice and ability-based curriculum is a plus. Ability to be an effective educator. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Commitment to student success. Working Conditions and Physical Effort No unusual physical requirements. Requires no heavy lifting, and nearly all work is performed in a comfortable indoor facility. Instructions for
