A Health Sciences Professor teaches foundational health science ideas, truths, and methods to students through a combination of classroom instruction, lab experience, field experience, and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the health science curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field.

The Clinical Skills Program, Core Faculty assists in the development, implementation, evaluation, and enhancement of the School of Medicine's clinical skills curriculum, in close collaboration with the SOM leadership. This includes an integrated three-year competency based clinical skills training and assessment, including assessment of the Core Entrustable Professional Activities for undergraduate medical education. This role assists in the development of a clinical skills program that offers the advantages of state-of-the-art and advanced classroom and clinical settings.

•​ The position is Part Time with no benefits - schedule will be two full days per week, generally

Tuesday and Wednesday Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

MD or DO degree required. Minimum of 3 or more years of relevant medical education experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

Medical Education Leadership experience.

Licenses and Certifications Required:
