A Health Sciences Professor teaches foundational health science ideas, truths, and methods to students through a combination of classroom instruction, lab experience, field experience, and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the health science curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field.

20163027F Job Description Instructors are needed to teach in the areas of human anatomy, physiology, histology and/or other general biomedical science related specialties in the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. Teaching workload can include but is not limited to classroom group learning activities (preparing teaching objectives, reading lists, learning assessments, creating pre-recorded tutorials and problem sets, group facilitation and coaching and laboratory teaching). Teaching needs can occur during fall or spring semesters as well as during summer programs (including the post-baccalaureate program, summer scholars program, and the Rural and Underserved Program).
