A Health Sciences Professor teaches foundational health science ideas, truths, and methods to students through a combination of classroom instruction, lab experience, field experience, and assignments at colleges, trade schools or other institutes. May assist or lead in the creation of the health science curriculum to be taught. In addition to instruction, they may assist or lead in research initiatives relating to their field.

Job Description
- Precepting fellows, residents and/or medical students in an ambulatory and inpatient setting
- Provide lectures or leading small group discussions as part of the COM or fellowship curriculum.
- Diagnose and treat disorders of the musculoskeletal system that are frequently the result of immune system dysfunction.
- Diagnosis and management of a variety of rheumatologic and autoimmune disorders.
- Patient care responsibilities include, but are not limited to, outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital service and consultations.
- Teaching and training learners at multiple levels in the education process.
- Additional duties as assigned Minimum Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD)
- Completion of 4-year Internal Medicine residency/training
- Completion of 2-year Rheumatology fellowship/training
- Ohio Medical License Additional Qualifications Considered
