May 23, 2027 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time The Division of Sleep Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of pulmonary medicine. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Applicants should be board certified or board eligible in Sleep Medicine. Teaching responsibilities may include training residents and fellows in addition to precepting medical students and other trainees in the field of Sleep Medicine. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching. Clinical responsibilities may include performing comprehensive evaluations and management of patients with sleep disorders including non-invasive ventilation, interpreting polysomnograms, multiple sleep latency tests, and home sleep apnea tests, attending in the sleep disorders clinic, and sleep telemedicine program. Clinical responsibilities will be at the primary outpatient site of the Sleep Division of the Hospital University of Pennsylvania as well as Pennsylvania Hospital. There will be an expectation of the ability of the selected candidate to provide management and/or leadership.
