Family Medicine Faculty Physician

The Spartanburg Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program in Spartanburg, South Carolina is a national leader in community family medicine education. We are seeking to add a Family Medicine Faculty Physician to our core faculty . The program is affiliated with both the Medical University of South Carolina and the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine - Carolinas Campus.

Highlights of the position include:

12 Family Medicine residents per year First in the state to receive ACGME Osteopathic Recognition Balanced outpatient and inpatient settings with approximately 6 inpatient weeks annually Largest program in the state Collegial faculty Job benefits: PSLF affiliated hospital Paid interview, relocation and malpractice insurance to include tail coverage $6,000 CME annually & 30 days of time off per year Premium retirement options and health benefits The successful candidate must have the ability to obtain a SC medical license, have Family Medicine board certification, have a love of teaching, and a background of practical experience or faculty development fellowship.
