Job Description The University of Tennessee Health Science Center is seeking a full-time, non-tenure Professor and Division Chief. Under the direction of the Department Chair, this position oversees academic and clinical operations within the Infectious Disease division, taking the lead for faculty recruitment, Med grand round, teaching fellow and co-working with the hospital practice plan leadership. Responsibilities The Infestations Diseases Chief position is essential to the Department of Medicine's function, as the division chief assumes responsibility for recruiting faculty members, advising and guiding faculty on their contributions to UT Health Science Center, overseeing the division's fiscal responsibilities, and more. Centralizing and in charge of the clinical schedule and on-call schedule within the Regional One Health and Methodist Hospital. Patient care will include inpatient service, 2-4 half-day clinics in Regional One Health, and an equal number of on-call schedules with all Infectious Disease physicians. Qualifications
