Job Description
Utah Valley University invites applications for a temporary one-year Lecturer position in Health Sciences. Design, prepare, and teach courses and deliver content using meaningful and engaging methods with measurable course objectives. Teach, manage, and supervise individuals and groups in a classroom setting via demonstrations, discussion, experiential learning activities, and visual aids. Provide evaluation of learning through written and performance tests. Hold regular office hours and maintain a student-oriented approach to education. Knowledge Knowledge of the course content Knowledge of the principles and methodology of teaching techniques. Skills Skills in maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment. Abilities Demonstrates the ability to maintain a friendly, creative collaboration with faculty.
