CLINICAL FACULTY PARTNER
INTERNAL Campbell County Health • Professional Development Gillette, WY Nursing PRN, Rotating, 12 hour shifts Posted 05/22/2026 Req # 7099 JOB SUMMARY In collaboration with the Professional Development Manager, the Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Faculty Partner will provide clinical instruction and supervision to University of Wyoming Faye W. Whitney School of Nursing students during their Medical/Surgical clinical rotations at Campbell County Health. The RN Clinical Faculty Partner supports student learning by facilitating meaningful clinical experiences, promoting professional development, and ensuring a safe and effective learning environment. The RN practices within the standards established by the Wyoming Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association (ANA) professional standards, National Patient Safety Goals, and applicable hospital and university policies and procedures.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Complete all required University of Wyoming and clinical faculty orientation and training requirements. Facilitate clinical learning experiences that support course objectives and student success. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing students during clinical rotations. Provide timely, constructive feedback regarding student clinical performance and professional behaviors. Address and document student concerns or performance issues, including attendance, professionalism, patient safety, and academic conduct. Complete required student documentation, including academic success plans, evaluations, referrals, and gradebook feedback, as appropriate. Collaborate and communicate regularly with the Course Coordinator, Program Director, Professional Development Manager, and other appropriate faculty or leadership members. Submit student evaluations and final grades within established timelines, as applicable. Ensure all student clinical compliance requirements are met prior to participation in the clinical setting. Serve as a clinical resource and maintain availability for student questions and support. Participate in course meetings, partnership discussions, and quality improvement initiatives related to the clinical education experience. Enforce university and organizational policies, procedures, and professional standards within the clinical environment. Promote a positive learning environment focused on patient safety, professionalism, teamwork, and service excellence. Demonstrate effective time management, organization, accountability, and fiscal responsibility. Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and the Corporate Compliance Program, including the Code of Conduct and applicable laws and regulations. Remain free from governmental sanctions involving healthcare and/or financial practices. Perform other duties as assigned. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) required Licensure Current, active, and unencumbered Wyoming Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Experience Minimum of two (2) years of acute care RN experience required. Previous experience working with nursing students in a clinical or academic setting preferred.
