Job Description
NewLife for Women is seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Program Director to provide leadership and oversight of our residential substance use treatment program in Gadsden. This is a key leadership position responsible for the daily operations of the residential program, including staff supervision, clinical oversight, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, program performance, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for the women we serve. Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. Minimum of two years of management experience. Must be QSAP-I eligible. Licensure or certification required where applicable. Strong knowledge of substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and evidence-based treatment practices. Knowledge of Alabama Department of Mental Health standards and applicable regulatory requirements. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with electronic health records and Microsoft Office applications. Position Responsibilities The Residential Program Director will work under the supervision of the Clinical Director and will be responsible for the overall leadership and daily operation of the residential program.
