The Dean of Student Success and Enrollment Management provides strategic leadership and oversight for student services, enrollment management, and student success initiatives at Southeast Arkansas College. This position is responsible for developing and implementing programs, policies, and services that promote student engagement, enrollment growth, retention, persistence, and completion while supporting the overall mission of the institution. The Dean serves as a key member of the college leadership team and oversees multiple departments and initiatives related to student support, enrollment operations, compliance, and campus life. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Enrollment Management & Student Success Provide leadership and oversight for the Offices of Admissions, Registrar, Recruitment, Academic Advising, Housing, TRiO Student Support Services, and the Career Pathways Initiative. Develop and implement strategic enrollment management initiatives designed to increase student recruitment, retention, persistence, and completion. Plan, coordinate, and assist with registration events, orientation programs, and other enrollment-related activities to support student onboarding and institutional enrollment goals. Assist with academic advising during peak registration periods to ensure students receive timely guidance and support in course selection and degree planning. Analyze enrollment trends and student success data to inform decision-making and improve institutional effectiveness. Student Activities & Student Engagement Oversee student activities, campus events, and co-curricular programming designed to enhance student engagement and campus life. Supervise and support student organizations and student leadership development initiatives. Ensure compliance of student organizations with institutional policies and procedures. Student Conduct & Title IX Administer the student conduct process, including investigation, documentation, adjudication, and resolution of student disciplinary matters. Serve as a Title IX investigator and ensure institutional compliance with federal Title IX regulations and related policies. Coordinate training, prevention education, and response efforts related to student conduct and Title IX matters. Disability Services Oversee disability support services and ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504, and related federal regulations. Coordinate reasonable accommodations and support services for students with disabilities. Budget & Administrative Oversight Develop, manage, and monitor departmental budgets within the Division of Student Success and Enrollment Management. Ensure responsible allocation and stewardship of institutional resources. Supervise staff, evaluate performance, and support professional development within assigned departments. Collaboration & Institutional Leadership Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to support student success initiatives and institutional priorities. Represent the college on committees, task forces, and community partnerships as assigned. Assist in the development and implementation of institutional policies and procedures related to student affairs and enrollment management. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to lead and manage diverse student services functions. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to analyze data and make strategic recommendations. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and community stakeholders. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and student-centered environment. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited institution required. Experience in higher education administration, student affairs, enrollment management, or related field. Demonstrated leadership experience in student services, enrollment management, or related areas. Knowledge of FERPA, Title IX, ADA/Section 504, and student conduct procedures. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supervising multiple student services departments. Experience with strategic enrollment planning and student retention initiatives. Experience managing budgets and institutional compliance matters.
