  • Charter School Teaching Position | Mesa, Arizona Montessori Education Centre
  • Charter School (MEC), North Campus, has an opening for an Upper Elementary Guide (Grades 4-6) with Special Education experience, or a state-certified Special Education teacher, to begin July 2026.
MEC is a public charter school fully committed to implementing authentic Montessori education, serving students from preschool through 6th grade. Our calendar mirrors the local school district calendar. All applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree and/or Special Education credential, or be in the process of obtaining one. If the selected candidate does not already hold Montessori certification from AMI, AMS, NCME, or a MACTE-approved Elementary training program, MEC will consider sponsoring Montessori training beginning the summer prior to employment through a MACTE-approved program. Multiple training options are available depending on individual circumstances. Up to $50,000.00 per year Application Question(s): Do you hold a Bachelor's degree and/or a valid Special Education teaching credential? Please describe your experience working with students who have IEPs or special education needs. Are you currently Montessori certified (AMI, AMS, NCME, or MACTE-approved program)? This position is scheduled to begin in July 2026. Are you available to start at that time?
