This role is essential to the school's daily life and culture and helps ensure that the front office reflects the mission and values of a classical Christian education. The ideal candidate is gracious, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities with professionalism and care. This individual should be able to take projects from concept to execution with minimal oversight while creating a welcoming and efficient office environment. Position Details Full-time position
Hours:
8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break Salary range: $60,000-$65,000 depending on experience Includes school holidays and scheduled breaks consistent with the school calendar
Primary Responsibilities:
Front Office & Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, students, and visitors Maintain a friendly, welcoming, and professional front office environment Respond promptly to phone calls and emails Coordinate tours and communication with prospective families Prepare and distribute newsletters, reminders, and school communications Assist with scheduling speaking engagements and school meetings Admissions & Enrollment Oversee admissions and enrollment processes through Blackbaud Maintain accurate and secure student files Coordinate tuition assistance applications Support new family onboarding and orientation Office Administration & Human Resources Prepare new hire packets and onboarding paperwork Maintain personnel and filing systems Coordinate memberships, records, report cards, and school documentation Assist with handbook updates and HR benefits coordination Keep the office organized and operational Development & Community Events Assist with fundraising campaigns and donor communications Coordinate school events including Game Day, Jog A Thon, Grandparents Day, teacher appreciation events, and parent coffees Support room parents and volunteer coordination Help prepare marketing materials and website updates Qualifications Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Professional, gracious, and service-oriented demeanor Ability to work independently and follow through on projects with minimal oversight Proficiency with technology platforms and office systems Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Prior school office or administrative experience preferred Commitment to the mission and philosophy of classical Christian education Applicants must be members or regular attenders of a Christian church About The Geneva School The Geneva School is a classical Christian school committed to cultivating wisdom, virtue, and joyful learning through a Christ-centered education grounded in truth, goodness, and beauty.
