of Traditional Chinese Medicine Admissions Assistant —Yo San University Department of Admissions General Position Description :
Assist the Director of Admissions and the Senior Admissions Advisor with all aspects of new student recruitment for the Yo San University Department of Admissions. Maintain contact with prospective students throughout the admissions process. Act as a contact point and resource for incoming students.Qualifications:
This position requires a minimum of an Associate or Bachelor's Degree with excellent communication and organizational skills. Well developed phone and face to face interpersonal skills are required as are excellent data management and follow up skills. A background in higher education is desirable.Primary Responsibilities :
Information and Tours Provide tours of the YSU facilities to prospective students. Provide information about the YSU program of study and basic information about the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Attend college recruitment fairs on behalf of YSU. Data Entry Enter prospective student contact information into the database, as needed. Help maintain a current and accurate database. General Admissions Duties Assist in the development of recruitment strategies Follow up with applicants regarding the submission of all items for the Admissions File. Provide follow up phone contact with prospective applicants Other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions & other senior admin staff members Provide a positive, welcoming and informed presence in all interactions Attend weekly Zoom meetings and trainings Student Services Advise and assist new students on housing and roommate options Provide orientation to new students regarding various University resources (work study, lectures, tutoring), projects and volunteer opportunities. Academics Coordination Work directly with the Academics department to coordinate students' schedules for the first term. Serve as a liaison between the Academics and Admissions departments. Assist in transfer credit evaluations. Training will be provided.Job Type:
