Length of Work Year 12 months Employment Type Full Time Job Summary Job Summary One regular, full-time position, 40 hours per week, 12 months per year on the Oceanside Campus. The normal work schedule will be Monday through Thursday 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, and Friday 8am-4:30pm. The person selected for this position will be subject to assignment to any district facility during any hours of operation. The first-level interviews with the screening and interview committee will be conducted via Zoom. The second-level interviews may be conducted in person or via Zoom.
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT
MiraCosta College Board Policy 7800: Employee Residency requires all classified staff, administrators, and temporary/hourly short-term employees to maintain and permanently reside in a principal place of residence in the state of California that is within two hundred (200) road miles from the employee's regularly assigned district worksite. The District may consider an individual's request to temporarily reside outside the State of California or beyond the 200-mile limit on a case-by-case basis, provided it does not exceed 12 consecutive months. Under the general supervision of the Director of CARE, this position will coordinate logistics of the campus food pantries and other annual programming that supports student basic needs across all three campuses; Select, train, schedule and supervise staff and volunteers; Screen and conduct student intakes for CARE referrals using a using a trauma-informed approach to assessing needs; Provide on-going case management support to students referred to CARE; Maintain tracking and reporting of student program compliance data for MIS and other community partners, per our MOUs and funding requirements; develop and deliver program-specific presentations for the purposes of scaling intentional outreach to historically marginalized populations; Monitor budget and authorize expenditures that provide direct aid to students; Track and disseminate program-related information through channels such as District website; Identify a Requirements / Qualifications For more information on Requirements/Qualifications, please contact the employer.
