This is a full-time position working 173 days per year; Insurance benefit eligible; Hourly, non-exempt position. schedule to be discussed with school Principal. Pay depending on experience - $26.32-$29.83 General supervision of students and facilities throughout the school day and some extracurricular activities during the school year. This position works closely with the administration to provide safety for the facility and monitor student behavior. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and monitor students and visitors entry and exit into the building at the front door. Greet and receive school visitors in a courteous, professional and prompt manner including directing and assisting them with a warm and welcoming attitude. Notify or address any visitor who bypasses the office and/or any suspicious or unusual activity on the part of any visitor. Assist with school bus loading/unloading supervision. Monitor student activities by regularly circulating through the entire school building and campus. Monitor bathrooms and students in the commons area, halls, and other assigned areas. Ensure Commons recess equipment is maintained, stored properly and used appropriately. Ensure Commons doors are open and closed during transitional periods and at the beginning/end of the school day. Conduct outside door checks on a scheduled, regular basis. Monitor modified open-campus policies. Ensure that students not eligible don't leave campus during lunch or their open periods. Assist in enforcing discipline policy where necessary. Monitor parking areas. Enforce parking policies. Administer, issue, track, and manage parking permits. Assist and monitor school video surveillance systems. Work with school admin and police officer in video surveillance access and archives. Assist and help manage school cell phone policy. This includes but it is not limited to managing Yondr pouch implementation, student application of Yondr pouch usage, data tracking, and stakeholder communication. Assist and help manage school substance abuse policy. This includes supporting and monitoring bathrooms, different areas of the building, and surveillance and sensor systems. Assist and help manage, track and communicate student detentions. This includes supervising and monitoring students serving lunch or open period detentions. Be familiar with and assist with school emergency procedures as directed by administrators. Assist with supervision of school activities and events at the request of the administrators. Maintain student records relative to parking, open campus, cell phone violations and other school systems. Data entry of related information including contacting parents of parking offenders Keep up to date on school and building policies and follow them. Assist school administrators in implementation of existing and new school policies. Assist and support school administration with student attendance, tardiness, and discipline. Assist with attendance protocols including data entry and getting students from class. Attend to faculty and staff needs including: Assistance with disciplinary issues. Provide school or student related information or records regarding attendance and discipline. Assist building principals with generation of school, student or staff related information. Other duties as assigned by building principals. QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with students and/or policy enforcement. Ability to work independently without direct supervision Ability to work early mornings during school day Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with students, staff, co-workers, administrators, parents and community members. Ability to maintain confidentiality Computer proficiency with Google products, Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use student data program Working knowledge of basic office procedures and office machines. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond professionally to questions from groups of parents, community members, commissions, colleagues and Board of Education. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, discounts, commissions, proportions, percentage, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, and geometry REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract concrete variables. TECHNOLOGY SKILLS
Proficient use of technology which includes: basic operations and concepts, word processing, spread sheets, internet usage, critical evaluation of information, data analysis, email, integration of technology. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Physically able to perform the following on a daily basis: Ability to lift items weighing 50 pounds from floor level to an elevation of four feet Ability to stand for long periods of time, withstand frequent pushing, pulling, squatting and reaching Ability to withstand exposure to the outdoor elements including extreme cold, extreme hot, rain, snow and other mountain climatic conditions Possess sufficient manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination to perform responsibilities as described.
